Get your own International Experience !
This autumn AIESEC Cluj-Napoca is selecting 20 students, master students, and graduates to go on an Educational Traineeship in a foreign country.
In order to benefit from an AIESEC Educational Traineeship you need to fulfill several conditions like:
- having a solid preparation in the field of education and, if possible, a diploma proving this;
- having a solid knowledge of English;
- eagerness to discover new countries and new cultures
- ability to take a leave of absence from school or job or whatever activity you might be involved in at the moment for the time of the internship (most of the internship are around 2 months, and you can leave for the internship between middle of November and March)
- payment of a participation fee.
In the same time, we, as organization, will fulfill the following conditions:
- to organize a fair selection process
- to offer the exchange participants all the necessary support before the beginning of their internship until they return back to Romania ( see bellow ).
The whole process is composed of several stages:
1. The selection
The selection covers the participant to submit an application including an updated Curriculum Vitae. After submitting the application, you will have to participate in an interview where you will be asked questions regarding your professional background and reasons for going abroad.
2. Preparation
Preparation refers to training and support to prepare you to find the right internship for you and also to live and work in a foreign country before you leave Romania. This includes logistical and cultural preparation as well as knowledge about AIESEC.
3. The matching process
The matching process covers access and an introduction to our online database of internship opportunities, so you are able to search for the internship that is suitable for you. Once having your resume online, you can browse for the right internships and apply for them. In case the employers consider you as a suitable candidate for the type of job they are offering, they will contact you and in some cases, ask you to participate in a Skype or a phone interview.
4. Integration
Throughout your entire stay abroad, AIESECers in the host countries will offer you different opportunities for cultural and social activities like traveling around the country and to the neighboring countries, participation to different cultural events , to AIESEC conferences, possibilities to get involved in the projects run there by AIESEC. Also, during the whole period of time spend there, you will benefit from the help of a " buddy " who is a member of AIESEC in your host country and who will help you with all the practical aspects of your stay.
5. Re-integration
Re-integration represents the final stage of your Exchange experience and refers to the help and support that AIESEC Cluj-Napoca will offer you at your return to Romania. You will be put up to date with all the events and projects run by our Local Committee so that you can easily re-integrate and become and active member of AIESEC Cluj-Napoca.
